My dear daughter

My dear daughter Mina wants me to write something about her here. I have to do this not because she is very special to me (she is!) and because she deserves a much larger attention on this blog (she does!), but because she has been asking this and I have been delaying for ages now. Hopefully when she grows up, she will have her own blog and write herself her thoughts about life and other important matters---like cats.

Here is a photo of us from when we were at a restaurant at the heat of the pandemic.

    Merhaba hocam. Önce kızınıza sağlıklı uzun ömürler dilerim. Sonrasında YouTube da (Metin Yıkar ın kanalı sanırım) sohbetimizi izledim keyifle. Ancak başkaca video veya Türkçe tarih sohbetinize erişemedim. Daha görünür olmanız dileği ile teşekkür etmek istedim.

Hello, salaam, peace to anyone who reads this post. I had been thinking of starting a blog to note things that occasionally came to my mind. Things that are pretty unrelated, in fact, so unrelated that I could not come up with a consistent blog idea.
